Case Study: Talller de Músics

When Taller de Músics Management and Productions began work on a new website, they asked Serveis Lingüístics de Barcelona (SLB) to do the Spanish / Catalan to English translations.

Taller de Músics (Musician’s Workshop) is a highly acclaimed institution specializing in the teaching of popular music, especially jazz and flamenco. Taller de Musics also focuses on preparing students for the realities of today’s workplace and helping them build a career in their chosen speciality by endeavouring to make graduates as employable as possible. The Management & Productions department promotes artists who are directly or indirectly linked to the school.

In recent years we have been looking to expand our business and enter new markets by promoting our acts on the international stage. Translating our artists’ biographies and other web content into English was an important part of our strategy.
